Riverview Insurance Solutions (RIS), the Alberta, Canada-based middle-market benefit consulting firm, announced it will merge with Sterling Capital Brokers (SCB).
The combined company will create the largest independent employee-owned benefit consulting firm in Canada, said SCB in a statement.
Founded in 2015 by Derrick Peterson, RIS oversees benefit consulting for more than 200 high growth clients in Alberta. Headquartered in Red Deer, Alberta, RIS works with clients in both Edmonton and Calgary. The team has combined consulting experience of more than 80 years in the areas of benefit plan reviews, plan management, retirement account planning, market analysis, member communication and corporate insurance planning.
