Insurers will innovate to improve customer experience post-COVID: Clyde & Co

Throughout 2022, insurers are expected to innovate to improve customer experience and build trust, post-COVID, according to Ernie Van Der Vyver, partner at Clyde & CO.

“With the flow of COVID-related business interruption (BI) claims payments nearing its end, in 2022 insurers will focus on strengthening their brands and customer relationships following the BI crises in 2020 and 2021,” he said.

He explained that this could be achieved through a linguistic and format review of all policies will provide greater clarity on scope of cover and make policies as simple as possible.
