Lockton Companies, the world’s largest independent insurance brokerage, has announced the launch of Lockton’s Emerging Asset Protection (LEAP) team. The team focuses on providing customized risk transfer services for companies in the digital asset space and providing education and expertise about the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem.
The LEAP team includes 35 brokers and attorneys worldwide, with members based in the US, the UK, Asia, Bermuda and Australia. The team also includes a number of US-based claims attorneys to assist clients as soon as a claim arises, ensuring maximum recovery under the insurance program, Lockton said.
