USAA cuts homeowners’, renters’ insurance rates in three states

With consumers staying at home more than ever thanks to pandemic restrictions, USAA has responded by reducing homeowners’ and renters’ insurance rates in three states.

The insurer is lowering homeowners’ insurance rates in Ohio and Wisconsin by as much as 4.9%. In addition, USAA is cutting renters’ insurance rates in Colorado by as much as 4.8%.

In a series of company releases, USAA said that the homeowners’ insurance rate cuts will be even bigger for active-duty military members who are customers of the insurer – as much as a 14% decrease for Ohio military customers, and 9% in Wisconsin.
