New York AG Letitia James announced a settlement with Fidelity National Financial, Inc. to resolve allegations that the title insurance company entered into no-poach agreements in violation of state antitrust laws.
In the settlement agreement, AG James alleges that Fidelity used its market dominance to enter into agreements with other companies not to solicit, recruit, or hire each other’s employees who sold title insurance policies and services to customers. These no-poach agreements allegedly harmed employees by depriving them of access to better job opportunities.
